Every child deserves opportunity. Every athlete has the power to create it.

For most of my life, I believed sports were my purpose.

As a former Division I college athlete, competition shaped my identity. It taught me discipline, resilience, leadership, and the power of teamwork. I dreamed of making an impact through athletics, until a knee injury unexpectedly ended that chapter of my life.

When the game was taken away, I found myself asking a question that so many athletes eventually face:

Who am I without my sport?

That season of uncertainty became the beginning of something much greater.

As I began serving around the world, I met children who had never stepped onto a soccer field, picked up a basketball, or experienced the opportunity to simply be kids. Many lacked access not only to sports, but also to education, nutrition, safe places to play, and people who believed in their potential.

It changed me forever.

I realized that while my athletic career had ended, my influence had not.

Today, I have had the privilege of serving in 14 countries and helping advance work that impacts millions of children around the world. Through humanitarian projects, playgrounds, meal programs, leadership development, and partnerships with local communities, I've seen firsthand how opportunity can transform a child's future.

That's why I founded Legacy Athletes International.

I believe athletes possess one of the world's most powerful platforms for influence. Yet many are never shown how to use that influence beyond the game.

Legacy Athletes International exists to bridge that gap.

We connect athletes, foundations, brands, and nonprofit organizations with trusted opportunities that create lasting impact in communities around the world. Together, we're building more than service projects—we're creating opportunities for children to dream bigger, grow stronger, and discover the potential God has placed within them.

Because every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.

And every athlete has the opportunity to help make that possible.

My hope is that athletes never have to experience what I did—believing their purpose ended when their playing career did. Instead, I want them to discover that the greatest legacy they'll ever leave may not be measured by championships, records, and trophies.

It will be measured by the lives they help change.

Sports gave me a platform. Purpose gave me a mission. Legacy is what we leave behind.
