THE STORY BEHIND THE MISSION
Amanda Zerilli
Founder, Legacy Athletes International
Amanda Zerilli is the founder of Legacy Athletes International, a former Division I college athlete, global sports impact leader, international speaker, and author whose life has been shaped by a deep love for sports and the people who make them possible.
As an athlete, she experienced firsthand the discipline, resilience, identity, and sense of belonging that sports can create. Today, she works alongside athletes, coaches, parents, officials, and sports organizations to help them recognize the influence they carry and use it to create lasting impact beyond the game.
Amanda serves the mission of Kids Around the World by building partnerships that provide food, safe places to play, and transformational programs for children and communities worldwide. Her work has taken her to 18 countries, where she has helped lead global initiatives and create opportunities for children and families. She serves on the board of United Action for Children in Cameroon, supporting its work with vulnerable children and communities, including the organization's FIFA Football for Hope Centre, where sport becomes a pathway to education, protection, leadership, and lasting opportunity.
She founded Legacy Athletes International from the belief that sports can do more than produce great competitors. They can develop courageous leaders, unite communities, and become a powerful platform for service and lasting change.
Her passion is helping the people who give so much to the game understand that their purpose does not end with their performance. The game may shape part of their story, but the way they use their influence will shape their legacy.
